What's with the flag?The flag we fly on the house is the flag of Saint George. We fly it mostly because we live on "George Street". But we also take inspiration from someone who insisted on doing what was right, rather than what he was told to do. What do you do with the fish during the winter?Lake George is 18 inches deep. That is deep enough that it won't freeze all the way to the bottom. So we leave the fish in there all winter. You may notice that we always try to keep at least a small section free of ice for air flow. What do the fish eat?Mostly the fish eat the algae that grows in the pond. With a good pond ecology you do not need to feed the fish at all. We give them food occasionally though, for the pleasure of watching them eat and so they grow faster. In the winter the fish hibernate. Why are the transaltions so bad?The transaltions are done by computer. The computer is not always smart. Please, feel free to send us corrections.
